Fresh particulars have surfaced regarding the shocking passing of acclaimed director Rob Reiner and visual artist Michele Singer Reiner, whose bodies were found at their Los Angeles home property on Sunday.

The Discovery

As detailed in an account referencing a family associate, a therapist arriving for an appointment first raised the alarm after being unable to gain access the house. The practitioner then contacted the couple's daughter, Romy Reiner, who lives close by.

After gaining access to the house, Romy came upon her father's body. Accounts indicate she then left the home distraught, unaware at that moment that her mother's body was also present. Another individual who had accompanied her contacted 911. Afterward, paramedics discovered Michele Singer Reiner's body.

Legal Developments

Law enforcement have charged the couple's 32-year-old son, Nick Reiner, with the charges of premeditated murder, as well as the charge related to a weapon, said to be a knife. He is presently in custody and is ineligible for bail.
